Mauricio Salaverria, der Besitzer von Finca Divisadero, setzt die Familientradition von Specialty Coffees fort, die 1890 von seinem Großvater ins Leben gerufen wurde. Diese Farm befindet sich im Gebirgszug Apaneca in der Ataco-Region von El Salvador.

Familie Salaverria besitzt 5 kleine Produktionen, auf einer Höhe zwischen 1300 und 1600 m. Eine von ihnen ist die Finca Divisadero, mit 6 Hektar eine der ältesten Farmen in El Salvador.

Finca Divisadero’s Boden hat eine Zusammensetzung aus Lehm und vulkanischem Boden, welcher oft preisgekrönte Kaffees im Rahmen des Cup of Excellence-Wettbewerbs produziert. Die Farm hat 2015 den 7. Platz beim Cup of Excellence gewonnen. Mauricio ist bestrebt ein nachhaltiger Produzent für zu sein: Sei es in Umweltbelangen oder auch für seine Arbeiter; indem er ihnen höhere Löhne gewährt, als normalerweise gezahlt werden.
